Candioti Sur residents protest Municipal Ordered Parking System

Residents of the Candioti Sur neighborhood in Santa Fe have launched a protest against the Municipal Ordered Parking System (Seom). The campaign involves placing signs throughout the area to express dissatisfaction with the current parking scheme.

Neighborhood Association president Matías Galíndez described the action as a peaceful protest aimed at making the residents' anger visible to municipal authorities. The primary demand is for residents living on the affected streets to be exempted from paying for the metered parking in front of their own homes.

The association reports that a formal request, supported by over 200 signatures, was submitted to the Municipality on June 30. However, residents claim they have not received a formal response in over a month. The group is calling for a meeting with Sebastián Mastropaolo, the Secretary of Government, Control, Mobility, and Citizen Security, to discuss potential modifications to the system.
