Canegrate hosts 64th Italian Targa Archery Championships

The 64th Italian Targa Archery Championships concluded in Canegrate on September 6, featuring approximately 900 archers from over 250 clubs across Italy. The event was attended by Economy and Finance Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, a member of the FITARCO federation.

In the recurve category, Roberta Di Francesco secured the women’s absolute title by defeating Chiara Rebagliati with a score of 7-3. In the men’s division, Matteo Borsani claimed his first career absolute title after winning the final 7-1 against Francesco Gregori. Tatiana Andreoli took third place in the women’s category, while Mauro Nespoli secured third in the men’s.

The Asd Arco Club Riccione also saw significant success during the competition. Notable achievements included a gold medal for Rebecca Pecci in the female Allieve class and a gold medal for Francesco Gregori in the male Seniores class, alongside an absolute silver medal. The club also earned gold in the male Master team category and silver in the male Juniores team category.
