Canela charity campaign collects 2 tons of donations
The “Uma Corrente do Bem” winter clothing campaign, organized by Casa Onã, has concluded after three months of mobilization in Canela. The initiative successfully collected approximately 2 tons of donations, including blankets, winter clothing for children, footwear, and various other items.
These donations were distributed through four separate deliveries. Two of these distributions took place in the Adão Mirote neighborhood, while the other two were directed to the Canela Municipal Secretariat of Assistance, Social Development, Citizenship, and Housing (SMADSCH). The campaign relied on community participation and various partners who provided collection points to support vulnerable families and individuals during periods of low temperatures.
