Canela conducts August bulky waste collection in Palace Hotel

The City Hall of Canela is conducting its August edition of the ‘Bota-Fora’ waste collection program this Saturday in the Palace Hotel neighborhood. Starting at 7:30 a.m., the initiative focuses on collecting bulky items such as furniture (sofas, beds, wardrobes), appliances (refrigerators, stoves), and electronics (televisions, computers, radios).

Residents are advised to place materials in front of their homes only on the day of collection to avoid sidewalk obstructions. Certain items, including tires, tiles, boards, and ceramics, are excluded from this service and must be disposed of by the owners. In the event of rain, the collection will be rescheduled.

Alternatively, residents can deliver bulky waste directly to the municipal Sorting Center on Rua Radial Sul in the Industrial District on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
