Canelo Álvarez vs. Mbilli fight may move from Riyadh to Las Vegas

The upcoming super middleweight world title fight between Canelo Álvarez and Christian Mbilli, currently scheduled for October 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, may face changes to its date and location. Reports suggest that due to regional military conflicts and recent drone attacks in the area, the bout could be rescheduled to November 21 and moved to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

While organizers have not issued an official statement regarding a change, the possibility of a relocation has been noted by various media outlets. This follows a previous delay from the original September 12 date, which was postponed to allow Álvarez time to recover.

During recent promotional face-to-face events, Mbilli has criticized the 36-year-old Álvarez, referring to him as ‘old’ despite acknowledging his danger in the ring. Álvarez enters the fight with a professional record of 63 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws, following a recent defeat to Terence Crawford.
