Canfranc: 55-year-old paraglider dies in accident

A 55-year-old man from Palma de Mallorca died following a paragliding accident in the Punta Baguer-Pico Canal Roya area of Canfranc, located in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

The emergency services were alerted on Tuesday morning. The Huesca Civil Guard, the GREIM of Jaca, the Huesca Aerial Unit, and medical personnel from 061 responded to the scene. Upon locating the individual, emergency teams determined there were no signs of life. The body was subsequently transported to Jaca and then to the Provincial Hospital of Huesca.
