Cango subsidiary EcoHash launches commercial GPU computing

Cango has announced that its subsidiary, EcoHash, has commenced commercial GPU computing services at its facility in Georgia. The company has completed modifications to create a dedicated artificial intelligence compute section within its 50-megawatt facility.

The new AI-compute section currently supports up to 3 megawatts of capacity. To support dense GPU workloads, EcoHash installed high-density compute containers equipped with industrial transformers, precision cooling, and fiber connectivity. The company designed these containers as standardized modules to allow for repeatable deployments at other sites in the future.

While commercial services have begun with an initial batch of servers, Cango has not disclosed the identity of its first customer, the number of operating servers, or expected revenue. The company noted that its prospective clients include GPU-cloud platforms and AI-focused cloud-infrastructure providers.
