Canik Municipality expands educational projects and scholarships

Canik Municipality in Turkey is implementing several major educational initiatives. Construction is entering its final stages for the Canik Science High School, a comprehensive campus designed to serve as a model for the Black Sea region. The facility will include modern classrooms, laboratories, a library, sports halls, and dormitories for both male and female students.

In addition to infrastructure, the municipality has announced unconditional scholarship support for all students entering university for the first time. This program, which has been running for four years, aims to assist families with education costs. Applications are being accepted at the municipality's social services unit until October 2, 2026.

Furthermore, the Özdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus has completed the practical examination phase for its Deneyap Technology Workshop. Students participated in the selection process by presenting innovative projects focused on zero waste, nature conservation, and environmental protection to a jury, as part of a broader effort to foster scientific and technological talent in the district.
