Canik Municipality invests 150 million TL in rural road infrastructure

Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı announced that the municipality is utilizing its own resources to fund various infrastructure and service projects across all 52 neighborhoods in the district.

As part of the 2026 investment program, the municipality has implemented 150 million Turkish Lira worth of new concrete roads in rural neighborhoods. In addition to these rural developments, work is ongoing in central neighborhoods regarding asphalt road construction, landscaping, and street lighting.

The municipality is also coordinating with relevant institutions to advance natural gas infrastructure and complete superstructure works on streets where underground utility processes have been finalized. Mayor Sandıkçı emphasized a commitment to high fiscal discipline and solution-oriented municipal services.
