Canik Municipality provides financial aid to young soldiers

Canik Municipality in Samsun is providing ongoing support to young residents preparing for mandatory military service. The municipality offers a 6,000 TL allowance to those heading to their units, with payments deposited regularly into their accounts.

In addition to the financial aid, the municipality provides soldiers with gift bags containing various essential items. Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that these initiatives are part of a continuous effort to support the budgets of local youth and their families. Eligible residents can apply for the allowance and the supply bags through the Social Services Unit at the Canik Municipality service building by presenting their military service documents.
