Canik Municipality Public Library expands children's educational services

The Canik Municipality Public Library and Study Center has established a specialized Children's Department designed to combine learning with recreational activities. Furnished by the Canik Municipality Vocational Training Courses (CAMEK), the facility features age-appropriate shelving, colorful seating areas, and dedicated spaces for intelligence and mind games.

Beyond providing a rich book collection and study halls for individual or group work, the center hosts workshops focused on effective reading techniques and building reading habits. The center also offers educational support through meetings with experts and guidance activities for youth.

To support academic success, the municipality provides exam fee assistance and organizes free exam simulations for students preparing for the YKS and LGS exams. Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that the center serves as a meeting point for citizens of all ages and emphasized the municipality's commitment to supporting students' educational journeys.
