Canik showcases new defense technology at MSPO 2026 in Poland
Turkish defense company Canik participated in the MSPO 2026 exhibition held in Kielce, Poland. The event, which saw record attendance with over 1,000 participating companies from more than 40 countries, focused on unmanned systems, anti-UAV solutions, artificial intelligence, and electronic warfare.
At the exhibition, Canik debuted the M3 FALCON, a 12.7x99 mm heavy machine gun specifically designed to meet the high firepower requirements of aerial platforms. Featuring an open slide mechanism, the weapon can reach a firing rate of 1,200 rounds per minute and is designed for integration into helicopters via doors, windows, ramps, or external mounting points.
The exhibition highlights the growing importance of defense modernization in Europe, particularly in Poland, a key NATO member. Poland's significant defense spending and potential access to up to 43.7 billion euros through the EU SAFE mechanism make the region a central hub for industrial partnerships and technology sharing.
