Canik to showcase M3 FALCON heavy machine gun at MSPO 2026 in Poland
Canik, a major manufacturer of 12.7x99 mm heavy machine guns, will showcase its integrated defense ecosystem at the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO 2026) in Kielce, Poland. The event is scheduled for September 8-11.
A primary highlight of the exhibition will be the debut of the M3 FALCON, a heavy machine gun specifically engineered for aerial platforms. Featuring an open-bolt mechanism, the weapon can reach a firing rate of 1,200 rounds per minute and is designed for integration into helicopters and other aircraft via doors, windows, ramps, or external mounting points.
Canik CEO Cahit Utku Aral noted that the company views the exhibition as a vital opportunity for new global collaborations, given the increasing international interest in the region. The company aims to position Poland not just as a growing market, but as a strategic hub for long-term cooperation and industrial integration, particularly as Poland increases its defense spending to approximately 4.8% of its GDP.
