Canine events and dog shows held across the United Kingdom

Various canine-themed events are taking place in the United Kingdom, ranging from community celebrations to large-scale competitions.

In Bottisham, the Hilton Park care home hosted its inaugural dog show to observe National Dog Day. The event, part of a life-enrichment programme by Barchester Healthcare, featured competitions such as ‘Most Handsome Dog’ and ‘Best Tricks’ to engage residents and the local community. The gathering also included representatives from the Cedar Court veterinary practice.

Meanwhile, the All About Dogs Show is scheduled to debut at Knebworth House on September 12 and 13. This two-day event will feature various dog show classes, including ‘cutest pup’ and ‘best rescue’, alongside entertainment such as a Doggy Disco and a talent show. The programme includes a special ‘Wilson’s Weekend’ dedicated to Chow Chows, featuring breed meet-ups and grooming demonstrations.
