Canistro Superiore reopens Bar Centrale via community cooperative

The village of Canistro Superiore in Abruzzo has reopened its Bar Centrale after being closed for more than ten years. The initiative is led by the community cooperative Sorgente Vita, chaired by Aleandro Mariani.

The cooperative aims to provide essential services to the village of approximately 170 residents, including fresh bread and refreshments for hikers. The project was supported by local residents who contributed through cleaning and donations to ensure the business could serve the community with accessible prices.
