Canoas: Customer assaults ice cream shop employee over 1-real fee
A customer physically assaulted an employee at a Milky Moo ice cream shop in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, following a dispute over a 1-real packaging fee for a takeout order. The incident, which occurred at the Canoas Shopping mall, was captured on security cameras and shows the man entering the establishment's internal area to confront the worker.
The victim, a participant in the Young Apprentice program, was attacked after a disagreement regarding the order priority and the additional fee. The confrontation resulted in approximately 3,500 reais in damages to a door and a wall-mounted mixer.
The Civil Police have opened an investigation into the matter. Authorities are currently working to identify the suspect, noting that the difficulty in locating him stems from the fact that he did not use a credit or debit card for the transaction. The owner of the shop has provided security footage to assist the investigation.
