Canon expands imagePROGRAF large-format printing portfolio

Canon has announced an expansion of its imagePROGRAF TM and TX series, introducing 12 new large-format printing models. These devices are designed for professional use in sectors such as architecture, engineering, construction, retail, and education.

The TM series includes seven new 5-color pigment ink models. Notably, the TM-610M and TM-510M are new multifunction models that integrate a large-format scanner with a printer in a single compact unit. The scanner features dual-sided light sources to minimize shadows and uneven brightness on creased or aged documents.

The TX series focuses on high-productivity solutions, including the 44-inch TX-4300 and TX-4310, and the 36-inch TX-3300 and TX-3310. These models offer features such as dual-roll handling, hot-swappable ink tanks, and enhanced security protocols, including PIN printing and encrypted communications.

Technical improvements across both ranges include high-density matte black ink and enhanced image processing for sharper line precision. The new hardware also incorporates increased recycled material content and EPS-free packaging.
