Canon launches new imagePROGRAF TM and TX large-format printers

Canon has introduced twelve new models within its imagePROGRAF TM and TX series, designed for professional and technical large-format printing. The new lineup includes printers and multifunction systems intended for industries such as architecture, engineering, construction, retail, and education.

The TM series features eight models, including the TM-610M and TM-510M, which are the first in the series to integrate a scanner. These multifunction systems utilize a contact image sensor (CIS) to digitize documents up to five times faster than previous configurations, utilizing LED lighting to reduce shadows on folded templates. The series utilizes new high-density matte black ink and improved image processing for precise line reproduction and enhanced detail.

The TX series includes the TX-4300 and TX-3300 printers, alongside multifunction models like the TX-4310 and TX-3310 that feature separate Z36 scanners. Key technical enhancements include a color calibration function to ensure consistency across multiple prints and a smart roll paper setting that automatically feeds paper and predicts remaining supply. The new models are designed to handle high-resolution outputs up to 2400x1200dpi.
