Canon MJ Group expands SASE services for small businesses

Canon Marketing Japan (Canon MJ) and Canon System & Support (Canon S&S) have announced the expansion of their Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) service lineup, specifically targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The new services are scheduled to roll out sequentially starting in late November 2026.

To address the growing need for zero-trust security amid rising ransomware and phishing threats, the group will offer two primary solutions. Canon MJ will provide ‘HOME type-VS’ through sales partners starting in mid-December, while Canon S&S will offer the ‘Makasete IT Secure Access Service by Verona’ via direct sales starting in mid-November. The latter utilizes the fully managed SASE service from Amiya.

The services aim to provide secure access to internal systems and cloud services from various locations, including offices, homes, and remote sites. By integrating network and security functions with one-stop operational support—including initial setup, configuration changes, and inquiry handling—the group intends to assist SMEs that lack dedicated IT personnel in strengthening their security and advancing digital transformation (DX).
