Canosa councilor proposes neighborhood regeneration via EU funds

In Canosa, minority councilor Nicoletta Lomuscio has filed an inquiry regarding the development and valorization of the Canosa Alta and San Sabino neighborhoods. The inquiry seeks to understand the administration's intentions for these areas and proposes the creation of a neighborhood laboratory to involve residents, associations, and sports clubs in a bottom-up design process.

Lomuscio highlighted the opportunity to utilize the New European Bauhaus (NEB) European tender, a multi-year funding instrument within the Horizon Europe strategic plan. This program aims to support neighborhood regeneration in smaller centers to improve daily well-being and community belonging. The proposal follows requests from the Canosa Bene Comune citizens' committee to leverage these funds for local urban improvement.
