Canottieri Germignaga wins double victory at Pallanza Palio Remiero

The 52nd edition of the Palio Remiero in Notturna di Pallanza took place on Lake Maggiore, organized by the Federazione Italiana Canottaggio Sedile Fisso (FICSF). Canottieri Germignaga A. S. D. achieved a double victory, winning both the men's and women's categories.

In the men's main race, the crew led by helmsman Marco Salvini finished with a time of 03:56:85, securing first place ahead of Suna and Canottieri Verbanese. The women's category was also won by Germignaga with a time of 05:37:30, followed by ASD Canottieri Porto Ceresio.

Other competition results included:

• Oratorio San Pietro Trobaso won the local parish competition (Palio dei campanili), followed by Oratorio San Vittore Intra and Oratorio Don Bosco Pallanza.

• In the international men's race, the Dutch team Sloeproeivereniging Haarlem won, beating the Italian FICSF selection.

• In the international women's race, the Italian team took first place, ahead of the Llangrannog Rowing Club from Wales.
