Cantù hospital CT scanner out of service following power outage

A power outage caused by severe weather has rendered the CT scanner at Sant’Antonio Abate Hospital in Cantù temporarily out of service.

To ensure continuity of care, Asst Lariana has implemented an organizational solution where patients requiring urgent CT scans will be transferred to Sant’Anna Hospital in San Fermo della Battaglia. Once the diagnostic procedure is complete, patients will be returned to Sant’Antonio Abate to continue their treatment.

Technical teams have been activated to repair the equipment, and the regional emergency agency, Areu, has been notified of the temporary unavailability of the diagnostic tool.
