Cantù signs Davide Moretti and prepares for Trofeo degli Angeli

Acqua S. Bernardo Pallacanestro Cantù has signed guard Davide Moretti to complete its roster for the 2026-27 LBA SisalClub season. Moretti, a former Texas Tech University player and the first Italian to play in a March Madness final, brings experience from clubs including Milano, Pesaro, Varese, Venezia, and Trieste.

In preparation for the upcoming season, Cantù will participate in the Trofeo degli Angeli on September 19 in Casnate. The preseason event features a matchup against Pallacanestro Reggiana, with all ticket proceeds being donated to charity in memory of deceased club supporters. The game serves as a final test for coach Francesco Vitucci’s squad following a series of preseason losses.
