Global infrastructure projects advance in Spain, Argentina, and Chile

Various regional infrastructure and transport projects are underway across Spain, Argentina, and Chile. In Spain, the central government and the Cantabria administration have signed a 62 million euro agreement for the La Pasiega intermodal terminal, with construction planned from late 2028 to 2030. Additionally, over 12 million euros will be invested in the Salamanca airport for modernization, and 4.47 million euros have been allocated to remodel the Soria train station. Other local Spanish projects include a 700,000 euro parking facility in Benalmádena and parking expansions at Torcal de Antequera.

In Argentina, the Government of Córdoba has launched a comprehensive remodeling plan for Terminal 1 in Córdoba to improve services for 80,000 daily users. Meanwhile, in Chile, the Minister of Housing and Urbanism has expressed support for a proposed metro system in Antofagasta to alleviate urban congestion. In Ceuta, tensions remain regarding the implementation of a new migrant assistance center required by European regulations.
