Cantabria announces literary contest and internationalization scholarships

The Parliament of Cantabria has extended the deadline for its ‘Sin Barreras’ short story competition until September 15, 2026. Part of the ‘Women without limits, without barriers’ program, the contest aims to highlight women's contributions to society and promote gender equality through literature. The competition features two categories: one for youth aged 15 to 25 and another for individuals aged 60 and older, intended to foster intergenerational dialogue.

Separately, SODERCAN, the Society for the Development of Cantabria, is launching a new edition of its Internationalization Training and Internship Scholarship Program. Aimed at university graduates from Cantabria, the program provides specialized training in foreign trade and marketing, followed by a one-year paid internship at Spanish Economic and Commercial Offices abroad. This edition offers placements in Dubai, Dublin, Casablanca, and Santiago de Chile to bolster the international competitiveness of regional businesses.
