Karpatia Horse Show Cantacuzino Estate equestrian competitions historic monument restoration Romania cultural heritage

The eleventh edition of the Karpatia Horse Show is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27, 2026, at the Cantacuzino Estate in Florești, Prahova. The three-day event will feature national and international equestrian competitions, including CCI 1* and CCI 2* levels, alongside live music, gastronomy, and cultural activities.

The event coincides with the ongoing restoration of the Petit Trianon Palace, a nationally significant historic monument located within the estate. Funded by the National Heritage Institute (INP) through the Historic Monuments Stamp, the project has completed its first stabilization phase and is moving into a new stage of structural consolidation. The Cantacuzino Estate Foundation aims to repurpose the site into a multifunctional cultural center to serve the community.
