Cantanhede Mayor Helena Teodósio Urges Support for Entrepreneurs

On Tuesday, August 4, Cantanhede hosted the Day of the Entrepreneur as part of the 34th edition of Expofacic. The event took place in the auditorium of the Municipal Library and gathered more than a hundred local business owners.

Helena Teodósio, president of the Cantanhede municipality, opened the session by stressing the need to foster a culture that values entrepreneurship, innovation and continuous skill development. She pledged municipal commitment to creating a favourable environment for investment, job creation and access to financing and networking opportunities.

Cristina Antunes, president of the Cantanhede Business Association (AEC), praised entrepreneurs for their courage in investing despite a volatile global economy and highlighted the strong cooperation between the AEC and the municipality, noting that joint efforts benefit the wider community. The programme featured panels on economic outlooks, investment solutions and corporate performance.
