Cantiano Fiera Cavalli returns to Monte Catria this October

The Cantiano Fiera Cavalli is scheduled to take place on October 11 and 18 at the Parco e Centro Ippico La Badia in Chiaserna, Cantiano. Set against the natural backdrop of Monte Catria, the event serves as a gathering point for equestrianism, rural culture, sports, and local traditions.

A central focus of the fair is the Cavallo del Catria, the only native horse breed of the Marche region, which represents local identity and contributes to regional tourism and landscape preservation. The 2026 edition marks the 47th Regional Market Exhibition and the 40th Cantiano Horse Review.

The event is organized into five distinct areas: Arena Grande, Arena Coperta, Area Mercato & Tipicità, Agorà del Catria, and Area Cavallo del Catria. The inaugural day on October 11 will feature a conference organized by the Associazione Allevatori Cavalli del Catria and Coldiretti Marche, bringing together institutions and industry experts.
