Canton Fair expands global partner network with eight new and renewed agreements

The 140th Canton Fair held a signing ceremony on October 16 for its Global Cooperative Partners program, aimed at deepening international trade networks and matchmaking services.

During the event, eight organizations signed agreements. Six new partners joined the network, including the Port of Los Angeles, the Polish-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China, Joinco, the Palestinian Businessmen Association, and the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Two existing partnerships were renewed with the Lebanese Chinese Business Association and the China Information & Culture Centre in Kenya.

Zhu Yong, Director General of the China Foreign Trade Centre, stated that the program aligns with efforts to respond to the international community's call for joint development through economic globalization. The new partners represent a diverse range of sectors, including shipping, logistics, business associations, and major procurement enterprises, spanning North American ports and European markets. As of the 140th session, the Canton Fair has established partnerships with 240 organizations across 112 countries and regions.
