Canton Fair to host 140th edition in Guangzhou this October

The 140th Canton Fair is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2026. The event will span three phases across a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square metres, featuring approximately 30,000 participating enterprises.

Phase 1, running from October 15–19, will focus on advanced manufacturing, including machinery, hardware, electronics, new energy vehicles, and industrial automation. Phase 2, from October 23–27, will center on quality home life, showcasing building materials, furniture, and housewares. Phase 3, from October 31 to November 4, will feature health, recreation, toys, and fashion products.

The upcoming fair emphasizes innovation and sustainability, with over 11,000 exhibitors identified as high-quality specialized or high-tech enterprises. Notably, 64% of participating companies are utilizing new technologies such as artificial intelligence and the industrial internet. The event also introduces new digital features, including AI-driven applications and augmented reality (AR) information displays to enhance the visitor experience.
