Cantoria falls 2-0 to Recreativo Granada

Cantoria suffered a 2-0 defeat against Recreativo Granada in their Tercera RFEF Group IX fixture. Despite a competitive start where the team from Valle del Almanzora held a scoreless draw at halftime, two goals in quick succession before the hour mark decided the match.

The goals were scored by David Simón, via an own goal, and Rafa Alete. This loss continues a difficult period for the team led by Ricardo Mora, who is searching for their first victory in their debut season in the fifth tier of Spanish football. Prior to this match, Cantoria had earned two points from two draws, including a recent late equalizer against Atlético Malagueño.
