Canva expands Visual Suite with over 100 new features

Canva has announced more than 100 updates to its Visual Suite throughout 2026, aiming to transform the platform from a design tool into a comprehensive productivity workspace. These enhancements cover various formats, including Docs, Presentations, Sheets, Whiteboards, Websites, and Video, allowing teams to manage entire projects within a single integrated environment.

Key updates include AI-assisted document generation in Canva Docs and the ability to convert data into graphics via simple instructions in Canva Sheets. The company reports high usage rates for these formats, with approximately 1,000 documents and 3,000 presentations being generated per minute.

A significant trend identified is the rise of mobile productivity. In several markets, a majority of users access the platform via mobile devices. Specifically, 67% of users in Mexico utilize mobile devices for the Visual Suite, while usage rates are even higher in Southeast Asia, reaching 76% in Indonesia and 72% in the Philippines.
