Cao Minh Tiến debuts new fashion collection in Mù Cang Chải

Designer Cao Minh Tiến has launched his new fashion collection, titled ‘Một chiếc áo mới’ (A New Shirt), with a unique runway show held amidst the terraced rice fields of Mù Cang Chải in Yên Bái province.

Taking advantage of the green rice season in Northwest Vietnam, the collection uses the natural landscape as a catwalk. The designs are inspired by the terraced fields and feature a dominant green color palette, blending contemporary design with traditional ethnic patterns and brocade from the local highland communities.

Several artists participated in the performance, including actors Thu Quỳnh and Minh Cúc, singer Cindy Thái Tài, and Tú Oanh. The collection aims to integrate heritage with modern aesthetics, using traditional materials and motifs to tell cultural stories for younger generations.
