Cao Thái Sơn repurchases rights to hit songs by Nguyễn Văn Chung

Singer Cao Thái Sơn has officially completed an agreement to repurchase the performance rights for several hit songs composed by songwriter Nguyễn Văn Chung. The acquired catalog includes popular tracks such as ‘Con Đường Mưa’, ‘Pha Lê Tím’, and ‘Cầu Vồng Sau Mưa’, which were instrumental in establishing the singer's career.

Cao Thái Sơn described the acquisition as a journey to reclaim a part of his youth, noting that these songs hold significant memories for both him and his long-term audience. He stated that the negotiations were conducted with mutual respect and a focus on the long-term value of the works.

Songwriter Nguyễn Văn Chung clarified that there was no prior conflict between the two parties, explaining that the inability to perform the songs was simply due to the expiration of previous contracts. The agreement allows the singer to perform these hits again on domestic and international stages.
