Chery and Jetour launch new seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUVs

Automakers Chery and Jetour are expanding their seven-seater plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV offerings across various international markets.

In Switzerland, Chery has introduced the Tiggo 8 PHEV in the UNIQUE trim, priced at CHF 41,990. The vehicle features a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, providing a total system output of 205 kW. It offers an electric range of up to 90 km and a total range of 1,050 km. The model includes premium features such as a 15.6-inch touchscreen, augmented-reality head-up display, and a panoramic roof.

Jetour is also promoting its S08 i-DM (also known as the X70L in some markets) as a family-oriented luxury SUV. In the Philippines, reservations have opened for the model. In Brazil, the S08 has arrived at dealerships, featuring a 1.5 turbo engine and an electric motor that combined produce 339 cv and 510 Nm of torque. The Brazilian model utilizes CATL LFP batteries and offers a total range exceeding 1,200 kilometers.
