Caoa Chery launches Tiggo 9 SUV in Brazil

Caoa Chery has launched the Tiggo 9 in the Brazilian market, introducing the brand's most expensive model to date. The new SUV is available in two powertrain configurations: a traditional internal combustion engine and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

The combustion model features a 2.0 TGDi turbo gasoline engine producing 224 cv and 36.7 kgfm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The hybrid version utilizes a 1.5 TGDi turbo gasoline engine combined with three electric motors, delivering a total of 428 cv and 59.2 kgfm of torque.

Pricing for the Tiggo 9 starts at R$ 249,990 for the combustion version, while the PHEV model is priced at R$ 299,990.
