Cap Blanc desalination plant reaches full capacity in Oran

The Cap Blanc seawater desalination plant in the Oran province has reached its full production capacity of 300,000 cubic meters of desalinated water per day. The Algerian Desalination Company (ADC), a subsidiary of the Sonatrach group, announced that this milestone follows the successful completion of progressive production increase phases in accordance with technical standards.

Since its initial commissioning, the station has produced a total of 92,345,000 cubic meters of desalinated water. This facility is part of a national program designed to enhance water security and diversify drinking water sources across Algeria. The increased output is intended to stabilize and ensure the continuity of the potable water supply for the Oran region and its surrounding areas.
