Cap d'Agde hosts 7th Évadés de Brescou swim for heritage

The 7th edition of the ‘Évadés de Brescou’ swimming event took place in Cap d'Agde, featuring a 2-kilometer open water swim between the historic Fort de Brescou and the Grande Conque beach.

Organized by the Agde Sports Department, the non-timed event focused on conviviality and eco-responsibility. Participants were required to use their own swim caps and safety buoys to ensure visibility and environmental respect. Fins were permitted to assist swimmers of various levels.

The event also served a charitable purpose, with registration fees being donated to the Fondation du Patrimoine to support the restoration of the Fort de Brescou monument.
