Capabrò leads “Voci per la libertà” human rights music tour across Italy
The “Voci per la libertà – Una canzone per Amnesty” festival has launched a national tour across Italy, including stops in Bologna, Faenza, and Sardinia, to promote peace, freedom, and equality through music.
The tour features the Marche-based rock trio Capabrò, who recently won the Amnesty International Italia emerging artists award for their song “Lavorare fa schifo.” The track addresses social issues such as labor exploitation and the vulnerabilities of younger generations. Following a special performance in Bologna on September 25, the band is scheduled to perform at the MEI festival in Faenza on October 3 and at the Pedras et Sonus Jazz Festival in Mogoro, Sardinia, on October 9.
Additionally, the “Voci per la libertà” festival will receive the Targa Mei Musicletter at the MEI festival. This year, the special award is dedicated to the best musical project for freedom and peace.
