Capaccio Paestum: Autopsy ordered for death of Giuseppe Mazzeo
The Salerno Prosecutor's Office has ordered an autopsy for 50-year-old Giuseppe Mazzeo, who died at a beach in the Licinella area of Capaccio Paestum. While initial hypotheses suggested the death might have been caused by a sudden medical emergency exacerbated by high summer temperatures, subsequent investigations have failed to confirm this theory.
Following a preliminary external examination that did not clarify the cause of death, the body was transferred to the morgue at the Maria Santissima Addolorata hospital in Eboli. Forensic pathologist Gregorio Policastro has been tasked with conducting the autopsy to determine the exact circumstances and cause of the man's passing.
