Caparezza receives Targa Tenco for best album of the year

Italian rapper Caparezza is set to receive the Targa Tenco award for best album of the year at the Teatro Ariston for his project ‘Orbit Orbit’. The album is described as a creative universe blending music, comics, and cosmic reflections.

In an interview, the artist discussed his desire to use his recent tour to instill confidence in creative individuals, particularly those who feel insecure in a highly critical world. He noted that his goal was to ensure that true creativity, rather than just narcissism, continues to thrive in the arts.

This marks Caparezza’s second Targa Tenco for best album, following his 2014 win for ‘Museica’. He expressed pleasant surprise at the recognition, noting it completes a significant cycle in his career.
