CAPCEE oversees opening of USEP regional campus in Izúcar de Matamoros
The state Committee Administrator for the Construction of Educational Spaces (CAPCEE) inspected the progress of the Universidad de la Salud del Estado de Puebla (USEP) regional campus in Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla. Under the direction of Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier, CAPCEE director Alejandro Loranca Espinosa reviewed the first‑stage building and the installation of laboratory equipment for medical‑surgery and nursing programs, and examined work on the second stage that will add more classrooms, labs and faculty spaces. The campus is slated to open to students in the coming weeks.
CAPCEE is simultaneously finalising details for other regional USEP sites in Tepexi de Rodríguez, Yaonáhuac and Zoquitlán, part of a broader state and federal effort to expand modern, safe educational infrastructure across Puebla's micro‑regions.
