Capcom announces Japanese dub cast for Street Fighter movie

Capcom has announced the Japanese dubbing cast for the upcoming live-action film ‘Street Fighter/The Movie’, which is scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide release on October 16, 2026.

Comedian Eiko Kano will provide the Japanese voice for the character Joe, a kickboxer. Additionally, Takeshi Nadagi and Akari Niu have been cast as an American couple. The announcement included a video message from Kano expressing his enthusiasm for the project.

The film is set in 1993 and follows the story of Ryu and Ken, two legendary fighters who reunite after being estranged. They are drawn into the ‘World Warrior Tournament’ by Chun-Li, only to discover a conspiracy and a resurfacing nightmare from their past.
