Capcom announces Resident Evil remakes for Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom has announced that three Resident Evil remake titles will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2: Resident Evil RE:2 Z Version Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil RE:3 Z Version, and Resident Evil RE:4 Gold Edition.

Digital versions of these titles are scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, while physical package versions are expected on January 29, 2027. The games utilize the RE ENGINE to provide updated survival horror experiences, including behind-the-view camera adjustments and enhanced visual technology for zombie and parasite depictions.

These titles will be available for playable demonstrations at the Capcom booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026, starting September 17. Attendees who participate in the demos will be eligible for various promotional items, such as microfiber handkerchiefs and stickers.
