Capcom, Bandai, and CapybaraKoala announce new consumer products and games

Several new consumer products and digital entertainment releases have been announced in Japan.

Capcom is reviving a collaboration between illustrator Kumamine’s ‘Shigoto Neko’ (Work Cat) and Capcom characters. The collection features rubber keychains that will be available as capsule toys at Tokyo Game Show 2026 starting September 17, with broader retail and online availability beginning September 25.

Bandai will re-release the ‘Capchara Tamagotchi’ series in the third week of September 2026. The Gashapon line includes four varieties, featuring characters such as Mametchi, which can be assembled into a 90mm figure.

In the gaming sector, developer CapybaraKoala announced that the tidying simulation game ‘Sort The Capybaras’ is scheduled for release on Steam for Windows PC on October 8. The game tasks players with organizing 4,800 capybara toys in a shop setting, featuring various upgrades to improve sorting efficiency.
