Capcom Confirms Resident Evil Veronica Remake for 2027 Switch 2 Release
Capcom announced that the remake of Resident Evil Veronica will launch in 2027 on Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 console. The reveal was made during Summer Game Fest, where a trailer was shown, and the company clarified that the game will use a third‑person perspective, following the style of the earlier Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes. The same development team that handled those previous remakes is working on Veronica. The announcement also noted that the Switch 2 is a more powerful hybrid system, with a price increase expected later in the year.
This marks another major title in Capcom’s support for Nintendo’s next‑gen hardware and confirms the continuation of the Resident Evil remake series.
