Capcom develops Resident Evil DLC and Street Fighter 6 movie outfits
Capcom is reportedly expanding its gaming lineup with new content for major franchises. According to industry insider Dusk Golem, the company has greenlit a DLC for the upcoming Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake, which is expected to launch in 2027. This expansion aims to provide several hours of new narrative adventures to bridge gaps between main saga releases. While the remake's exact release date remains unconfirmed, internal reports suggest a potential shift from early 2027 to autumn 2027.
Additionally, Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 will receive free outfits inspired by the upcoming Street Fighter film, scheduled for release on October 16, 2026. The initial character costumes include Dhalsim, E. Honda, and Zangief, with designs for Guile and M. Bison also planned. Players can unlock these items using special codes within the game starting on the film's release date.
