Capcom launches Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition on Nintendo Switch 2
Capcom released Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 23, 2026. The digital edition is priced at $30 (US) until early July, after which it rises to the regular $40. A physical version is scheduled for August 28.
The port includes all four playable characters – Nero, Dante, V and the DLC character Vergil – and ships with the EX Color Pack, five Devil Breaker arms for Nero, the Cavaliere R weapon for Dante, battle‑track music and other bonus content such as alternate announcers and live‑action cutscenes. Capcom locked the game at 60 frames‑per‑second in both handheld and docked modes, with the option to reach up to 120 fps on compatible displays. The file size is about 28 GB. Features such as hardware ray tracing, Turbo Mode and the Legendary Dark Knight difficulty are omitted.
A launch trailer highlighted the series’ high‑octane stylised action and confirmed the game runs at a steady 60 fps, with the potential for higher frame rates on the new console. This marks the first time a Devil May Cry title appears on a portable Nintendo device.
