Capcom releases Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Capcom has released Onimusha: Way of the Sword, marking the return of the dormant franchise after 20 years. The game features the legendary 17th-century samurai Miyamoto Musashi as the protagonist.

The narrative follows Musashi in Kyoto as he battles demonic beings known as Genma to save the region from corruption using a special bracer. While the gameplay mechanics draw familiarity from modern action titles, the story focuses on a direct premise of defending the area from demonic invasion.
