Capcom has released the results of an official fan poll conducted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. The vote, which took place in July among members of the Resident Evil Ambassador program via the official portal, allowed fans to select their favorite protagonists and villains.
In the protagonist category, Leon S. Kennedy secured the top spot, followed by Chris Redfield in second and Jill Valentine in third. Other notable characters in the top ten include Ada Wong, Claire Redfield, Sherry Birkin, Rebecca Chambers, Ethan Winters, Barry Burton, and Luis Serra.
In the villain category, Albert Wesker was named the most popular antagonist. He was followed by HUNK in second place and Jack Krauser in third. The full results of the survey are documented in a new commemorative book marking three decades of the series.
